1. What information do we collect?
Personal information you disclose to us
In short: We collect personal information that you provide to us, and Etsy shop data we access with your authorization.
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us and the Services. It may include:
- Your Etsy shop ID and shop name (via Etsy sign-in). We do not collect your password — you log in through Etsy's own secure authorization (OAuth).
- Etsy authorization tokens, stored encrypted, so we can act on your shop with your permission.
- Content you provide: product photos and videos, listing details, shop policies, and brand descriptions.
- Etsy shop data we read on your behalf: your listings, orders and sales (receipts), views, and favorites.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card numbers.
Sensitive information
We do not collect or process sensitive personal information.
Payment data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details; those are handled and stored by Stripe. You may review Stripe's privacy notice at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Information automatically collected
In short: Some information — such as your IP address and browser characteristics — is collected automatically when you use the Services.
Like most online services, we automatically collect certain technical information needed to operate and secure the Services. This includes log and usage data (such as your IP address, browser type, the pages and features you use, and date/time stamps) and device data (such as your device type, operating system, and general location inferred from your IP address). This information is used mainly to keep the Services secure and working, and for our internal analytics and diagnostics. We do not use precise (GPS) location.
2. How do we process your information?
In short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer the Services, communicate with you, keep the Services secure, and comply with law.
We process your personal information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
- To provide the Services — analyze your product photos, research keywords and competitors, generate your listing content and translations, and publish or update listings on your Etsy shop only after you review and approve them.
- To track listing performance you ask us to monitor (views, favorites, sales, and search rank).
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
- To keep the Services secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
3. What legal bases do we rely on?
In short: We only process your personal information when we have a valid legal reason to do so.
If you are in the EU or UK, we rely on the following legal bases: consent (which you may withdraw at any time), performance of a contract (to provide the Services you sign up for), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Services), and legal obligations. If you are in Canada, we process your information with your express or implied consent, except in the limited circumstances permitted or required by law.
4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?
In short: We share information only with the service providers needed to run the Services, and in the limited situations described below.
Service providers. We share personal information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services for us or help us operate the Services, including:
- Etsy — to read and update your shop with your authorization.
- Anthropic (Claude) — our AI provider. Your product photos and listing text are sent to Anthropic to generate your listing content.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Render — cloud hosting.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS, and security.
- Google — Google Trends data, used for keyword research.
- Pinterest — only if you choose to connect a Pinterest account, to create pins for your listings.
Business transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?
In short: We use only essential cookies. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
We use only the essential cookies necessary to operate the Services — primarily a session cookie that keeps you signed in and helps keep your account secure. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Services.
6. Do we offer artificial intelligence-based products?
In short: Yes. Our Services use AI to generate listing content.
As part of our Services, we offer features powered by artificial intelligence ("AI Products"). We provide these through a third-party AI service provider, Anthropic (Claude). To generate your listings, your input (such as product photos and the details you provide) and the resulting output are shared with and processed by that provider. All personal information processed using our AI Products is handled in line with this Privacy Notice and our agreements with the provider. You must not use the AI Products in any way that violates the provider's terms or policies.
7. How long do we keep your information?
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax or accounting requirements). When we no longer have a legitimate need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.
8. How do we keep your information safe?
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information, including encrypting the authorization tokens that connect your Etsy shop. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Services at your own risk and should access them within a secure environment.
9. Do we collect information from minors?
We do not knowingly collect data from, or market to, children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable steps to delete the data. If you believe we may have collected such data, contact us at support@listogics.com.
10. What are your privacy rights?
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws — including the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and, where we rely on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at support@listogics.com. You may also review or update much of your information by signing in to your account, and you may ask us to close your account at any time.
If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we are processing your information unlawfully, you may complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint). If you are in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
11. Controls for do-not-track features
Most browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. No uniform standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We do, however, recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information under applicable state laws.
12. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?
